In Case is operated by Ruzylo Cloud, LLC. This sheet describes the little we receive and the great deal we never receive at all.
Your vault: we never have it
Everything you put into the In Case app — accounts, policies, documents, wishes, letters, contacts, all fifteen sections — is stored only on your device, encrypted at rest, behind your device passcode and Face ID or Touch ID.
There is no In Case account, no cloud sync, and no server holding a copy. We cannot read, recover, export, or hand over your vault, because it never touches infrastructure we operate. If you export or print it, that copy goes where you choose and stays under your control.
What we do receive
- Your email address — only if you join the register on this website. Used once, to write to you the day In Case ships. This is the only personal data our servers hold.
- Payment information — handled by the App Store or by Stripe. We never see or store your card number.
- Standard server logs for this website — IP address, user-agent, request paths, kept no longer than thirty days for security and debugging.
What we do not do
- No analytics SDKs, advertising SDKs, or trackers inside the app.
- No selling, renting, or sharing of personal data, to anyone, ever.
- No reading of the readiness check on this site — it runs entirely in your browser and your answers are never transmitted.
- No emergency-access back door. The handover to your family happens through copies you make and control, not through us.
The subpoena question, answered plainly
People ask what we would do if compelled to produce a customer's vault. The honest answer is that there is nothing to produce: no copy exists at our end to search, seize, or disclose.
The same is true of an acquisition or an insolvency. A company's data can change hands; your vault cannot, because it was never part of the company's data.
What happens if we shut down
Nothing, for your vault. The app works offline and depends on no server of ours. Your records outlive us by design — which is the entire reason the product is built this way.
Your rights
Ask us to delete your register email at any time by writing to privacy@ruzylo.dev, and we will, promptly.
For the vault itself, deletion is in your hands: remove the app, or wipe the vault in Settings. There is no server copy for us to delete on your behalf.
Children
In Case is intended for adults arranging their own affairs. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13.
Changes
If this sheet changes we will update it and the effective date at its head. We will not weaken the on-device promise, because it is not a policy — it is what the software is.
